What is MyD230?
Due to our hectic lives, not many of us always have the time to pick up the telephone and communicate with our children’s teachers regarding their progress in their classes. MyD230 provides a great communication tool between students, parents, and teachers.
MyD230 is an online grading program that is being used district wide. With the MyD230 program, students and parents are able to view grades, assignments, and web site links from any computer with an internet connection. This service is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
One of the latest features for MyD230 is the email notification. This feature allows parents to enter an email address that will receive an email message if their student’s grades fall below the predetermined percentage set by the parents. All notifications are sent weekly on Thursday evenings
.Student Access to MyD230...
User name for students is their ID number. Passwords were issued during Period 2 on August 16th or can be obtained by any of your teachers. If you are not able to access your account, please stop off in the Technology Department in the school that you attend.
Parent Access to MyD230...
There are several ways to access the MyD230 grade book application. You can use any Internet Service Provider to gain access. You will need to open your internet browser and go to the district’s home page or any D230 school main page.

Log into MyD230 by using your user name and password.
Parent ID’s have been set to the primary parents first initial and last name. (example: Jane Doe would be jdoe).
Passwords are set to the oldest child’s secure password issued on Thursday, August 16th during period 2.
Once you have logged into the system, click on Your Profile. In this screen, you can add your home and business telephone numbers along with your home address.
Add your home email address
You have the option to add your business email address also.
Change your password to something you will remember and confirm your password by clicking the update button:

To View Your Child’s Grades...
To view your child’s grades, click on the link at the top of the page that says: Your Students
Click on the link: Classes to view the classes your child is in. You will be able to view the teachers email address by clicking on their name, the grades for the class, assignments, links entered by the teacher, files the teacher may make available for their class, and any note the teacher may enter about your student.
If you experience problems accessing your account, please contact your Support Specialist at the school your child attends listed below.
Activating email notifications
To activate email notifications, click on the box that states:
Alert me by email if my child(ren)'sOn the right side of the screen is a box that requires you to enter a percent at which you will be notified if the grades fall below this level. You need to enter a numeric value in this box. If you want to be notified when your child’s grades fall below 80%, please enter 80 in the box. Once you have entered all of the information, you must click on the button that says:
This will save your changes and begin your notifications.
