  1. Who is the author?

  2. What are their qualifications of the author?

  3. Does the author appear to be a part of an organization?

  4. Is the author the creator of the information?

  5. Can the author be reached for questions or comments?

Is the Information in the Web Page Accurate?

  1. Can the information on the page be found in a non-related source?

  2. Does the web page give sources for the information found on the page?

  3. Does the web page contain grammatical and spelling errors?

Is the Information on the Web Page Objective?

  1. Is the web page attempting to inform, entertain and/or sell?

  2. Do organizations which provide information have a clearly stated bias or viewpoint?

  3. What types of web pages link to the web page that I'm reading ?
  4. Are the listing of  links from the page that I'm reading complete and are they reviewed? 

Is the Information on the Web Page Current?

  1. When was the page last updated?
  2. What is the date of the source of information found in text, graphs, maps and charts?
