Eight Victor J. Andrew High School students received Bronze and Silver awards for their accomplishments on the National German Exam and were included in the National German Exam Honor Roll.

Every year, the German Department at VJA administers the National German Exam to students interested in taking it. The NGE is administered to more than 15,000 schools across the country and is in its 65th year. The exam measures the performance of students in reading and listening and rewards students through an extensive regional and national prize program.

Please congratulate the following Honor Roll members:

Level 3: Claire Carney - silver

Level 2: Emma Wheeler - silver, Amelia Loftus - bronze and Callie Panozzo- bronze

Level 1: Spencer Reilly - silver, David Jennings - silver,  Alex Herman - bronze and Sean Butler - bronze  

“These students work very hard in class and continue to grow in their language proficiency. We couldn’t be more proud of them and their efforts,” said German teacher Erika Lupacchino.
