Summer 2020 Guidance Office Procedures
In an effort to keep students, families, and staff safe, throughout the summer of 2020, the Guidance Department will be able to provide services to families by appointment only. We will continue to offer meetings via Zoom with counselors or staff for new student enrollments or current student meeting requests. If you are unable to conduct your business via Zoom or email please call (708) 342-5821 to make an appointment to meet with a staff member in person. Counselors will have select hours throughout the summer and will be responsive via email periodically during the summer months.
We encourage all families who still need to provide their annual residency documents to do so online. The link below allows you to upload photos of your documents for review. Incoming Transfer Students
Families looking to enroll a new student into Andrew High School should start by emailing Ms. Olivia Deltoro at ODeltoro@d230.org. Please include the information below in your initial email.
- Student’s Full Name
- Date of Birth
- New Address within District 230
- Previous School Attended
- Student’s Grade Level
- Does your student have an Individual Education Plan, receive special education services or have a 504 Plan? If so, please indicate this in the email so that we can include the appropriate personnel from the Special Education Department.
Virtual meetings with a counselor will be offered to families to discuss course placement, schedules, and other transition needs. Families who do not have access to the internet or feel they need an in-person meeting should make that request through Ms. Janky (firstname.lastname@example.org) or Ms. Deltoro (email@example.com).
