Please share this information with District 230 students and families who could benefit from meal resources. The School District feels strongly that students benefit from healthy meals.
District 230 Meals
Beginning Monday, August 24, 2020, the D230 Food Service Department will offer a meal daily to all students who qualify to receive free meals, as well as those choosing to purchase the meal for $3.05. If you would like to have the meal, arrive at your school each day Monday - Friday between 3:00 and 5:30 p.m. to pick-up that day's meal. Student ID’s must be presented at the time of pick-up.
In order to achieve our goal to always provide safe meals, all entrees are frozen. Entrees include items such as pasta with marinara, burrito, cheeseburger, grilled cheese sandwich, and cheese pizza. Each entree includes fresh fruit and vegetables.
One complete meal will be distributed each day Monday through Friday from 3:00 until 5:30 PM at your school at the following specific locations:
- Carl Sandburg High School - Circle Drive/Entrance E 10
- Stagg High School - North Door
- Andrew High School - Lower Level Commons East Door
Orland Township Food Pantry
Friday, August 21, 2020, from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.
14807 S. Ravinia Avenue, Orland Park, IL
The Orland Township Food Pantry will distribute groceries to Orland Township residents who are experiencing financial hardship since the onset of the COVID-19 Pandemic. The Township will have 500 boxes packed with perishable and non-perishable grocery items and a gift card to a local grocery store. The grocery distribution will operate on a drive-thru basis - residents are asked to follow the signs in the parking lot and remain in their vehicles. Must be Orland Township Resident, have a valid photo ID. 1 per household.
