Join Sandburg, Stagg and Andrew High Schools for a free community wellness event open to all families within District 230 boundaries on Monday, November 7, 2022, at Andrew High School. The event begins at 6:30pm with a resource expo of available supports/agencies within our community, followed by a viewing of the Screenagers documentary Growing Up in the Digital Age, at 7pm. Physician and filmmaker Delaney Ruston explores the impact of screen time and, along with her film team, created this award-winning film that probes into the vulnerable corners of family life and depicts messy struggles over social media, video games, and academics. The film offers solutions on how to help students navigate the digital world. (runtime of about 67-minutes). A brief moderated panel discussion will follow.
