District 230 schools rank among best Illinois high schools
All three Consolidated High School District 230 high schools were named to U.S. News & World Report’s Best High Schools in America list. The methodology includes six factors based on a school’s performance on state assessments and how well it prepares students for college, along with graduation rate, college readiness, and underserved student performance.
Superintendent Dr. Bob Nolting said, “District 230 strives to foster innovation, empathy and leadership. Our schools inspire and empower students to make an impact on their schools and in their communities. District 230 schools foster learning both in and out of the classroom, with challenging academic coursework, including Advanced Placement and Dual Credit, and engaging co-curriculars that help students to communicate, lead and collaborate. Our empowered graduates leave our schools as critical thinkers able to embrace diversity and ready for success in college, career and wherever their path may lead. Of course, our success is made possible thanks to the support of our staff, families and communities.”
